Backstories Written by Dambra Sabato and Directed by Dambra and Ray Croce is a collection of three plays showcasing three of Seward Johnson's works in a theatrical flight of fancy dramatizing the "might-have-happened' minutes that led up to the iconic moments captured by the sculptor. The pieces chosen were "Unconditional Surrender', 'A Reason to Smile' and 'Forever Marilyn'.
A Saturday's Child presents a trilogy of creative conjecture, tales of what was said and what took place, just before the embrace in Times Square in 1944, that smile in Florence in 1507 and that updraft in New York City in 1954.
